Info: The Children's Friend was the monthly English language children's magazine published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) between 1902 and 1970. It is aimed at those of Primary age (Primary is the name for the young LDS children's Sunday school program), approximately ages 3 through 12. It includes messages from church leaders, stories, crafts, recipes, and artwork and poetry submitted by readers.
The Friend is the successor to The Children's Friend.

I'm looking for a Children's Friend … a December issue from the 1950s. Not for sure what year. It had a green tinted picture of Santa Claus, who happened to be grandfather, Feno Shafer, who was a children's dentist in the Salt Lake area. I would so love to find a copy of that magazine.
